Re: 305 ARCA

Ciao Amico Chris!interesting your reference to those little letters in the corners. Each letter is followed by a period and means a word. I think we can understand this easily by asking someone in Belgium. do you have a 305 with Arca sticker in your incredible Chris collection? Personally I had some...

Re: PAGE34 e PAGE ROD

Hello, Just a few remarks on this reel. I know someone who has it (not me!). Listed on Ebay a few years ago with rods but no reels by a Swiss seller, the final price was way too high for me The name "page" was used for the first version of the 320 (see photos of a boxed page with warranty...

305 ARCA

The time it took to find it leads me to think it is not common. This type of paper adhesive is extremely delicate, impossible to remove and is very easily damaged. The reel is in excellent condition, has never been disassembled and still has the original aged grease in every part. After following hun...

Hi Simone, those 300DL BALZER reels were produced from 1964 - 1974 according to Dennis Roberts Value Guide. Distributed for the German market and approximately 500 produce in the time span. Pretty low production and very rare. Do you have the wooden box and cardboard sleeve it was shipped in?? Exce...

Dear Simone, That is a beautiful reel, almost looks too good to be true... For your information, the Mitchell that came in the brown box was like your reel including the brass transfer gear. Simone, Very nice find. I consider the pilot/prototype reel a rare reel to obtain. They all came with level-wind gearing, and dark blue metal knobs. Yours has higher serial number than most than range about 5000 less. Regards, Ted Lanham I also think it is a very high number of this version. I thin...

Congratulations Simone, you have yourself one of the first full bails made, definitely! On the old MRM Site US Mates referred to these as 'pilot reels, I think perhaps 'prototype' is what we in Europe might have called them. I bought a Mitchell 300, serial number B64413. I've seen lots of Mitchells and the logo, Mitchell, on the side always looks fine line etched and filled with white paint.
