Hi Mates,
With the unfortunate hijacking and properly shutdown of the old MRM (Thank you so much Wallace for resurrecting a new MRM) I continued adding to my collection and thought I would share some of my additions. While I realize that most of us - myself included, collect or are enthusiasts of the Mitchell spinning reels, Mitchell also made a very nice Fly Fishing Reel. I thought I would share this exceptional European distribution Garcia Mitchell 758.

This Fly Reel is Ser# H08703 from 1978 and is absolutely perfect. Even the box and paperwork are like new. I purchased this reel from a seller in France and couldn't be more pleased.

This reel is as close to "New in the Box" as I've ever seen and everything is in impeccable condition for a 43 year old reel and packaging - Kind of like stepping back in time. I have added it to my my Mitchell Fly Reel collection consisting of the 710, 720, 752 and 768 - all NIB/MIB reels. I hope you like seeing it as much as I like looking at it / playing with it and as always, comments and questions are always welcome.

Kind Regards,
Chris

That's a great looking reel Chris. It's funny seeing a US/Canadian released reel coming from across the pond.  Mitchell did make fly reels for the European market with their logos attached. I have the reels that you have plus a few Euro released. Will try and post as time permits. That box and paperwork are super clean. Now try putting the Gold box ones in your reel room. That would be a challenge.... :text-bravo:
