Hello,
Just want to give my .02 cents. I know from talking to other website owners that the upkeep of websites are considerable.. Most have extra $$$$ to throw around but others don't. Remember this site was started on a shoe-string budget and hope years ago. Eventually costs catch up to the QUALITY of the website. That's where the added costs come in. Visit this site and the " world is your oyster " at a click of a button. Many years ago it was meeting certain people, trade shows, phone calls and diligence that led to the information you were searching for to confirm your findings. Months to years later that information was in a book or a News Letter. My how times have changed. The point is don't be afraid to contribute to help keep this site ALIVE... I myself donate the equivalent of a years dues comparable to another "club" I belong to. My 1st reaction to when this site suddenly wasn't there was disturbing. All that information down the tubes. But through the hard work of those that helped keep this site alive it was reborn. I thank you. Enjoy the weekend and Happy Holidays............

Kim, members,
For me the site going down, wasn't a shock. Knowing the last time it went down, and the plead for help. I figured it would go down at anytime. 1 reason I kept seeing the last new member, hasn't changed in quite awhile.
When it did go down I was afraid it was gone for good!!
I find it odd that when the call for help (donations). It get very quite here!
I personally would like to thank Wallace, for his out of pocket, money to save it.
I believe their are a lot of members like myself, are on fixed income. My hope is that every member helps out, no matter how large or small a donation.
Maybe their IS someone out their, with an idea of how to restructure the financing the site.
PS
Over the years of giving way reels, to young anglers. I do know of a few that come to the site. So that they and their parents, can learn about and repair their reels. Another generation is being born!
:help: :help:

May your lines always be tight, Don
