Just made an observation, My 306 Reels are all off to the left on back foot. They function fine. I spent about 2 hours messing with mounts on a new Abu/Garcia trying to line it up.(No Luck)
Then looked at my others and to my surprise they are all like that!
Now what is going on? Is this a design fault
Are they made like this?
Should I change brand of Beer?

Schrack, are you saying that just the back half of the foot that gets tightened in the reel seat is not in line with the front of the foot, or is the whole body not straight on the stem . I have a few 306 reels I'll check them when I have time and let you know how mine are. Regards, John in Pa. :sCh_fisherman:

Hi Schrack, Checked all my 306, 406, and my 906 reels , I don't see anything wrong with the foot on any of mine . Can't believe you happened to get so many bad ones. Are they all close in serial no. range , maybe Mitchell go a bad batch of bodies from the company casting them for them. Then again maybe you do need to change brands of beer , or drink more and the feet will at least look :sFun_eyescan: strait. Regards, John in Pa. :sCh_fisherman:
