Vintage shots, the boat is my 8' pram, at least it was mine when it was not needed for fishing or hunting. It is me on the tube ( my first vessel I was in command of) You can just see one of Dad's 300's. next picture Dad is on the left and this would of been an early rise to drive 25 minutes put the gear in the boat run for about 20 minutes, fish, do return trip' stop for picture, go home clean up and walk about 15 minutes to work and be there by 9:30

Hi Mates,

I received this awesome photo from Syd who asked that I post it for him. Posted with his permission - I believe Syd's Dad is the gentleman on the left as the resemblance is unmistakable.

Two beautiful trout :sSig_youtheman: but I'm interested in Syd's description.

Kind Regards,
Chris

Thanks Chris, yes it is Dad on the left. He loved to fish and hunt (small game). He spent a lot of time learning where the trout were in the spring and found a great spot. I still have his lake trout logs that he kept and at the end of each season he would mail it in to the state, they would record it and send it back along with sheet that tallied everyone's logs. Just have to find them.
