I am trying to remove the pinion gear (306). I did see a post from a few years ago, but didn't understand. I have removed all I see to get it out. Hope you can see the photos provided. I don't want to bang on it, till I get some advice.
Also the female thread (should be on the housing) for the anti-reverse is missing. Got any fixes for that, other than getting another housing?
Thanks for any help

I assume the bushing and gear remove together. I also assume to remove it it has to come out towards the threads. Guess it's frozen not coming out all these years. Out come the hammer and wood :sFun_shocked: .

Don, did you remove the set screw that sets the pinion gear sleeve shaft to the housing? If so, penetrating oil overnight is next step...

Have you reviewed the schematics section on this site?

Well it's been in penetrating lubricant 24 hours. Took the hammer and wood to it (banged the heck out of it). Any other suggestions?
Thinking of bringing the heat gun out :sCo_hmmthink: .
