Hey Kim,

I’m glad you like the thread. I learned quite a bit being part of it.

I get your point about it being best for a thread to have a title closely reflecting its content. I just wasn’t sure whether there would be more than a couple additional entries. If you do find an item(s) for a new thread on graphics and start that thread, I’m happy to join.

Confusing stuff are patents!

Mr. Bochinno's Flopy seems so very similar to this much later patent from Carpano et Pons.

Indeed!

Unclear what's different there - perhaps French-speaking colleagues could help with the text. The illustrations from both patents look very similar.

Mates,

Here’s a colorful loose page (front & back) from what I believe to be a 1952 Charles Garcia folder. Notice the trout illustration is the same as in the 1951 ad at the start of this thread.
