Can anyone tell me if a Conolon 7'10" - 2551 B Medium Fast action rod. Would be considered A light weight pole for bay - inlet saltwater fishing.

May your lines always be tight, Don

don309,
I checked the "Gallery" and the 1962 ad for Garcia Conolon rods state that " 8ft. med. light, fast taper, 12 to 2 oz. lures, 6 to 20 lb. line. For Salmon and steelhead.

Hope this is some help.

Regards,

Ted Lanham

Thanks Ted
Yeah I think it will work, for what I want to use it for. Flounder and small Blues. Besides I can pick it up cheap.
