I have been buying used Surf rods and wrapping ones that need so. (Not the best looks but getting better) I have a Berkley Jet, the question is how far do the furrels go down when connecting both parts. The male and has a screw like fitting you insert this into the female , but only goes a short distance in. Once it is in you have to turn and pull to separate the rod. Is this normal for this rod? Most other rods the fittings go deeper. |
