This is a 1984 Mitchell 350A. I've been looking for a good example of this model for 10 years. I first learned of it's existence when I noticed it referred to and pictured on a Mitchell Sports box a 300A came in. In that time, I've only found two for sale. One my dad bought and this one I have. It may be that few were ever sent to the US but they're quite uncommon here. In fact, they're not yet listed on the reel list in the Mitchell Reel Museum.

I'm not sure when Mitchell started making them but I know they were made at least until 1987. I've seen one with an S prefixed serial number, my dads. I have also seen Taiwan manufactured examples. These reels came in the Mitchell Sports box which I unfortunately do not have an example of. My example has a silent anti-reverse and the late large flat knob on its handle. Mitchell 350A reels are difficult to come by in the US. If anyone else has one, I'd love to see it and compare notes.
